For the past two weeks I've been moving all of my stuff from my apartment in Midvale back to my parents' house and getting my bedroom ready. Every time I switch bedrooms I try to make my new bedroom cooler than my last one. I think I've been doing a great job at that. This new bedroom really tops the cake. I've built 2 platforms that, together, stretch the length of the far wall. The first one is 5ft. high and holds my bed. The second is 3 ft. high and holds my drums. This definately saves a lot of space. I put all my entertainment stuff (TV, DVD player, VCR, Books, Movies, etc.) under the taller platform and used the space beneath the shorter one for storage. To help you understand, I've provided some photographs of it:
I'm proud of it. It also makes me excited to see what I'll do with my next bedroom.

Photo-Animation...
A.K.A Photoshop. Last night I posted the previous blog about 30 Rock coming to DVD. This morning I logged on to view that blog and I noticed something very interesting on the cover of the DVD set. All five of those actors are actually there in the picture. They weren't shot separately and then edited together. They were actually standing next to each other and all posing at the same place and time. I don't know why, but I keep noticing movie covers where they have to photoshop all the actors together and I've never understood it. And to be honest. I find it sort of annoying. For Example:
Really, how hard is it to actually get all the actors together for a picture? They just filmed an entire movie together. You'd think they'd take the time for a photoshoot. So, I'd just like to say "Good Job!" to the photographer and cast of 30 rock for doing something that makes sense.
P.S. If you can't tell a difference in the movies I compared with to 30 Rock, then look closer at each person's outline. Also shadows. Like on the cover of Be Cool. They're all standing very close but no one has the shadow of somebody else on them.

You Rock! No...You Rock!
Grand news! Season 2 of 30 Rock is scheduled to be released onto DVD October 14, 2008. Yes, I am happy about it. Yes, I will buy it. Yes, I will protect it with my life. As for season 3, it is scheduled to begin airing on October 30, 2008. That's right my nerdy-TV-watching friends and/or family, 2 wonderful 30 rock moments in just a single month. You don't need to thank me, I'm just the messenger.

Yeah, I ate that
My Family just got back from their vacation to Nauvoo on Tuesday. While they were out, I began practicing my cooking skills. It's something that I'd like to get good at but never really took the time to practice. I felt like I was doing quite well. So I decided to have dinner ready for them when they arrived. If it's not too bold to say, I think I did a fantastic job. The night before, Sjandi and I went to a lake out in Scofield to catch some crayfish. I had recently gone out there with my cousin Isaac and he showed me how it was done. We caught a whole bunch of them and took them home for my family dinner. Here's a little video to help you get the picture.
We prepared it with potato salad and corn on the cob. So, we're pretty awesome.

The Wee Little Future Makers
My Daughter, Zoey, is just about 9 weeks old now. I don't know how fast kids are supposed to grow cause I've never raised one before, but I'm pretty sure Zoey is ahead of her time. At 6 weeks she was already holding up her head by herself. At 7 weeks, she began to look her Mother and me in the eyes as we talk. And now, a few days ago she definitely pushed herself forward in a crawling motion. I estimate by week 12 she'll be complaining about how stupid the Family Circus comics are and sneaking out to the movies.
